What are the documents required for Join Family visa?

Passport (Original)Current and all previous if any
Valid for 12 months during stamping and valid for 6 months after intended date of departure from Ireland
Must be issued within the last 10 years
Must contain two continuous blank pages
Passport (Copy)All pages of current and all old passports
Photographs (Colour)2 passport sized photos of the applicant
Both photos must be 45-50mm in height and 35-38mm in width.
They must both show a close up of your face and the top of the shoulders.
Your face must take up 70% to 80% of the photo.
Your photos must be less than 6 months old and must show exactly the same image.
Be taken against a plain white or light grey background
Do not wear sunglasses or tinted/coloured glasses.
Do not wear a head covering or hair covering, except if you wear it for religious reasons, eg do not wear a hat, cap, head-band.

On the back of each photo write the following in BLOCK CAPITALS:
Name of the applicant
Visa application/transaction number

Sponsor's Employment ContractIn the case of an employment permit holder a copy of their contract of employment of at least 1 year from your proposed date of entry giving their annual salary is also required.

If they are travelling either alone or with a person other than their parent/legal guardian
These signed consents must be accompanied by copies of the consenting parent/ legal guardians’ passports or national identity cards, which clearly show their signature.
Custody PapersApplicable if the applicant's marital status is divorcee anf if visa is being applied for dependent child
